In 2018, we began collaborating with Mike Jones from Primal Canine. Our first project together produced the RS24 Semi Comp Suit - a lighter dog bite suit design. We soon found that decoys working multiple dogs throughout the day were taking damage and could still feel the bite. Mike asked if Ray Allen could make a hidden sleeve/gauntlet product that could be put on with one hand, while remaining snug, to fully protect the decoy and not add any additional bulk. And, so the Primal Canine Decoy Armor Gauntlets were born.
Fast forward just a few years, and we have now worked together to design over a half dozen products. Our continued partnership with Mike Jones/Primal Canine has developed products that help the trainer, handler and decoy. We recently completed the production of our latest addition to the collaboration - The Primal Canine Calf Guantlet and The Primal Canine Thigh Gauntlet. Both were designed and developed with the idea of protecting the decoy while producing quality grips and drive. The calf and thigh gauntlets allow the decoy to take more bites and work more dogs without taking unnecessary damage to the body or suit. For both the decoy and the K9, these gauntlets are a win-win and perfect accessories for your bite work training.
Note: These gauntlets are made to be used under a bite suit or bite equipment. These are not made to be used by themselves.
