Does Ray Allen offer dog training classes or certifications?

Ray Allen is purely a manufacturer/retailer of professional dog equipment, and we do not offer dog training classes or certifications through our website. However, we do interact with various trainers and organizations that support the professional nature of the dogs we cater to. Primal Canine, based out of the Bay Area (California), is a friend of the company and shares our philosophy.

We do partner with dog training organizations, and offer a Pro-Trainer Program for our affiliates.

Ray Allen does offer a wide selection of K9 training books, DVDs, and software that cover a multitude of K9 disciplines and methods that you can learn at home.

I found a coupon for Ray Allen products online. Will you honor it?

Ray Allen Manufacturing is not affiliated with and does not submit promotion codes to third-party coupon websites such as RetailMeNot or CouponCabin. We do not and will not honor promo codes from these websites.

Ray Allen does advertise different branded promotions in different marketing channels (i.e. web search, portal shopping sites, etc.). These offers cannot be combined with other offers you might see advertised elsewhere but which are not available on the particular Ray Allen site you are visiting.

I ordered an item from Ray Allen Manufacturing and there was a long wait time for shipping OR the item was marked as discontinued. What happened?

Ray Allen manufacturers the majority of our products in-house. To ensure consistency and quality, these products are often made in smaller batches as materials are available. We are working on updating our ordering system to ensure inventory is reflected on our website, and to properly communicate lead times to our customers so there is no delay in receiving an item.

How long will an item take to ship after I place an order?

Ray Allen uses the United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground Service or United States Postal Service (USPS) to ship our products, and the processing times can greatly vary through outside agencies, and we do offer special shipping arrangements upon request. Why should I purchase a Ray Allen Manufacturing product over other K9 products on the market?

Ray Allen has been hand-making and rigorously testing professional K9 products since our inception in 1948, when our founder was making leather K9 gear for the Sentry Dog Division of the U.S. Army at Camp Carson. Our ongoing relationships with K-9 professionals and unrelenting work in the field has allowed us to perfect existing products and develop more innovative equipment for use in the K-9 world, and that trend continues today.

Does Ray Allen work with state, federal, or local police departments, military or other agencies for B2B sales?

Can I get a bite suit faster than 4-weeks?

Our Bite Suits are typically “made-to-order", here in Colorado Springs. We generally ask that you allow four weeks for delivery. However, the typical suit is shipped within two weeks. This is not a guarantee. Please call us for orders that have a hard deadline.

I ordered the wrong item how do I return it?

Ray Allen Manufacturing will accept returns of new products. If it is a situation where the customer simply ordered the incorrect size or item; we ask that you obtain a RTA# (Return Authorization Number) to help us expedite the processing. In these situations, we do ask that the customer pay return shipping.

If Ray Allen Manufacturing ships you the incorrect item we would be glad to pay for the return and provide shipment of your correct item. In this scenario, we do still ask that you call to obtain a RTA#, however, it is not required if you include detailed information of the issue and how you would like us to resolve the issue.

Why do you carry tactical gear?

This is a great question. We launched our tactical gear line after many informal conversations with our customers. We wanted to know what products they purchase for their K9 team that Ray Allen Manufacturing did not currently offer – tactical clothing and gear was one of the most common product lines that were brought up. We feel Ray Allen manufactures and sources the best product for the dog and we feel confident we can do the same for the handler. Our tactical line is limited to the brands and products that we think are best suited for K9 handlers.

I have a product suggestion; how do I get Ray Allen to carry it?

We are always searching for new products and product ideas to meet the demands of our customers. The best way to communicate your idea to us is via email – sales@rayallen.com. Please keep in mind our team is constantly developing new products ourselves and we do get many requests for product and idea reviews. It may take a couple of weeks to respond to you.

Do you ship internationally?

Does Ray Allen have a retail store that I can visit and purchase products?

Ray Allen Manufacturing only has one retail location in our headquarters and distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At the present time no have plans to expand our retail operation to include any new locations. The address of our Colorado Springs retail location is 975 Ford Street.

We would like to offer Ray Allen Manufacturing products at our business; what do we need to do?

Ray Allen offers several programs to help promote and distribute our products. Ray Allen Manufacturing is very focused on supporting the K9 training community and has created our programs toward that customer segment. At the present time we do not allow other direct to consumer companies to advertise Ray Allen Manufacturing products in catalogs or on other websites.
