The design may be familiar to some of you. For those that don't know, it's inspired by the Camel Trophy logo. The Camel Trophy was an off-road vehicle competition that was held annually, between 1980 and 2000. Widely considered the "Olympics of Four-Wheel-Drive", it was best known for using an exclusive series of iconic Land Rover Defender and Discovery model vehicles; designed specifically for the challenging terrain. The bright yellow background became standard of their 'travel' logo, with royal purple, navy blue, green, brown, and/or black used as the lettering throughout the years. The logo became iconic, and synonymous, with off-road royalty.

Seeing these vehicles do their thing, it's easy to see how one can fall in love with four wheeling and the idea of trekking through the most unforgiving lands. And, that's just what inspired us!

With the spirit of the Camel Trophy logo, we did our best to create a design that reflected that wild lifestyle with this Ray Allen Adventure PVC Patch. Our patch incorporates the iconic yellow background with navy blue "Ray Allen Manufacturing" lettering in the Camel styled font. For a little extra flair, we included the silhouette of a malinois, surrounded by mountains and pine trees that represent Colorado.
