K9 Spotlight: James Wickert & Odin

We got Odin as a puppy. He is a working-line sable GSD. As a dog trainer, I know he needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation to fulfill him. I have always wanted to do activities where I could bond with him, and what better way to do that than mantrailing? We have a good friend who was a K9 handler for our local PD, so we named our dog after him and hope to live up to his legacy—which will be hard to do, but we are going to do our best. With a lot of hard work, our ultimate goal will be to get certified in SAR. I find it so rewarding to watch Odin working a trail, and the bond with him is unbreakable.
