The patented technology of the Getxent Tube provides a safe and effective way to train detection dogs in real-world conditions. These tubes absorb all odor molecules from a target odor, and release them accurately and continuously for up to six months, allowing for long-term training. As the tubes are odor-neutral and only release the captured molecules, they can be safely used in public places without any harmful agents. The Getxent Tube is already used in various fields for K9 training - including bio-health, explosives, narcotics, disease diagnosis, species detection, cadaver and more.

Check out the SciK9 TADD® Connector (sold separately), which can be used to join two TADD® Jars together and create an odor infusion chamber. Place your target odor in Jar 1 and your odor ab/ad-sorption material (Getxent Tube) in Jar 2 to make your own training aids!

The Getxent Tube is a unique training aid which enables the detection of diseases by dogs. Our new material absorbs all molecules safely related to a disease, either from liquid (e.g. urine) or gas (e.g. breath). It is also used to analyse Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) by Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). Already used to detect: COVID-19, C. difficile, cancer, infectious diseases, etc.
