In many ways, the E-Collar Technologies K9-400 Trainer w/ Bungee Collar is similar to the ET-400 Educator, with a few added benefits. Specifically, the K9-400 has a 33" bungee collar that can be fitted for any dog with a neck size of 6" - 30", and provides added comfort and contact reliability that's unmatched. The ET-400 Educator comes with a set of both 5/8" and 3/4" standard contact points, whereas the K9-400 "Tactical E-Collar" comes with an additional set of 3/4" (long fur) hypo-allergenic steel contact points for more consistent contact while training.

The K9 Handler "Tactical E-Collar" has a 3/4 mile line of sight range that's loaded with unique features, making it the most humane and effective K9 trainer available. Although small in size (2.4 ounces) the stop-watch style transmitter, paired with the world's smallest rechargeable K9 receiver (RX-090), provides plenty of stimulation for most dogs. The K9-400 has a unique COS (control of stimulation) technology that provides very specific stimulation, from level 1-100.

The remote transmitter controls a beacon style light on the receiver, that can be set to strobe or continuous (individually set for each dog on the K9-402 2-dog system). It also features a lost transmitter beeper to help locate your misplaced K9-400 handheld. The transmitter also floats, making it convenient for training your hunt dog in ponds and other wet environments. No need to worry if you drop it in the lake, or any other body of water. The K9-402 K9 Handler "Tactical E-Collar" is the 2-Dog version of the K9-400. Like it's 1-Dog counterpart, the K9-402 allows you to independently set stimulation levels from 1 to 100, with the ability to set a boost level from 1 to 60, from the single K9-400 K9 Handler transmitter remote. The K9-402, 2-dog system, includes a second RX-090 receiver, a 33" Bungee Biothane collar, and 3 sets of contact points.
