The Dark Systems K9 Lightstick Dropper is a purpose-built tactical marking device designed for law enforcement and military working dog teams operating in demanding environments. Mounted directly to a K9 vest using a simple MOLLE attachment, the dropper allows handlers to deploy lightsticks remotely to mark routes, track canine movement, or identify objects and areas during operations.
With a capacity of approximately 44 lightsticks, the module provides extended marking capability for search and rescue, tracking, and tactical missions. Each lightstick produces up to four hours of illumination and is available in multiple visible colors as well as infrared for use with night vision equipment. This versatility allows teams to adapt marking strategies to the specific needs of the mission.
The Lightstick Dropper features a plug-and-play modular design that can be mounted on the side or chest of a K9 vest using a single MOLLE webbing channel. Its compact and durable construction ensures reliable performance while minimizing bulk for the dog. The deployment system can be controlled remotely through the Dark Systems ecosystem, including compatibility with the Darkmesh K9 camera system and operation via ATAK or remote control.
