The Dogtra GPS Fence is a customizable virtual fence system designed to create a wireless containment area without buried wire or physical fence installation. Using the Dogtra app, handlers can map custom boundaries around their property, including a main fence and two backup fences, with up to 30 custom boundaries available. Once the fence is set up, the collar stores the boundary information and continues working without the phone or app.

The GPS Fence uses a warning zone to alert the dog before reaching the boundary, with Audible Tone, Vibration, or Correction options. If the dog crosses the main fence, the Come Home Sequence activates with a return reminder tone and corrections designed to guide the dog back toward the safe area. The system supports up to three dogs by pairing an additional collar for each dog and requires no monthly subscription or installation. The GPS Fence is designed for outdoor properties of at least 3/4 acre and fits dogs weighing 15 lbs. and above with a minimum neck size of 10".
