In 2021, David Cahill discovered Bent Oak while guiding at Honey Brake and was impressed with the quality and performance of the lights. In 2023, David and his wife Leslie purchased the company, committing to uphold the high standards set by the founders. Today, Bent Oak continues to design and deliver rugged headlamps and handheld lights that perform in the toughest environments, keeping users safe, hands-free, and fully illuminated.
