Over more than a decade I have purchased more than a few leads and collars from your co. The leads, mostly leather, have held up better than any other product that I have ever bought for my dogs which are used a lot. They even outlasted more than a few of their metal feeding bowls! And, as sad as I am about needing to put down one of my beloved Catahoula Hounds (she was 12 1/2 and had cancer) the reality is I bought a lead from you when she was about 2 years old, and it is still in excellent condition, and one of my younger dogs now trains and walks with it! I placed an order recently for a K-9 Tactical Deployment Mat (way cool name for a dog bed). The TDM is great, my partner is with me all the time and the TDM has been invaluable at the many hours of overtime we're required to work. For years I wished there was something like the TDM to use at fixed post assignments. Occasionally I would take a dog bed, but the material wasn't suitable for some environments and the red plaid just didn't look very cool. Robby, my eight year old Bomb and Patrol Maligator, didn't seem to mind much ... I think he liked the attention from the girls "awwww he's got his lil bed" ... he's a player. The TDM I just purchased is a gift for a handler friend of mine who just got a new partner. I've been a handler for over six years. All of our equipment is Ray Allen ... in fact, I had the nick name Ray for a while because our patrol vehicle looks like a Ray Allen showroom. Many times during training with other agencies someone will "wish" they had a particular piece of equipment and I'll hear "ask Ray, I bet he's got one" and I usually do. Over the years I've placed many personal and departmental orders. The equipment has always been of the highest quality (I've never had a piece of Ray Allen equipment fail) and the customer service has always been top notch. Chawntell took my latest order and she was great. I appreciate her sense of humor, her product knowledge and the speed at which she took my order. I would like to thank Ray Allen for producing an outstanding Cruise Eze insert. Just after we installed a new Cruise Eze insert, I was working my normal District with my 4 Year Old German Shepherd and of course he was lying in his normal spot (against the passenger door) when a vehicle failed to stop at an intersection and struck my Patrol car. The vehicle impacted the rear passenger door forcing my patrol car off the roadway at 55 MPH. After skidding 148 feet, we struck a concrete culvert sideways. The impact with the culvert flipped the patrol car onto the driver side, but before rolling all the way over, it spun out of the culvert striking a large bolder and came to rest 4 feet from a natural gas main. When I awoke from being unconscious, I turned to find my K-9 standing up looking at me. My K-9 was transported to the vet to be checked for internal injuries because he showed no visible injury. While I was at the Emergency Room, I was advised my K-9 had "NO" injuries from the accident. After reviewing the accident scene and cutting the car apart to remove the Cruise Eze. I would say the Cruise Eze kept my K-9 safe and Ray Allen makes a great insert. After repairing the insert, we are back to work with the same Cruise Eze unit. Thanks, Deputy N. Back in about ‘85 or ‘86, I bought a leash from you guys… a great leash it was, although I did cringe a little because it seemed expensive (I think it was $15). But it was good leather with an o-ring, braided at the loop, and a lock jaw snap — good tools don’t come cheap I told myself. Recently I thought I had lost that leash after all these years and was really saddened by that. Lots of memories attached to that lead! And it still has a lot of good years left to it. Well, I found it!!! Riki is trained in SAR work for cadaver and trailing. Even though she is not trained for live area or article search, she is trained to indicate articles she finds while trailing. I went back to an area where I knew I had last had that leash and told her to go search for it. Dang! if she didn’t find that leash in about 10 minutes! And gave a rock solid indication to boot! I love my dog and I really, really like my leash. I only wish the dogs would last as long as the leash… Just thought I’d let you know why I wasn’t buying another one! Patricia Riley

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for the new tracking harness and patrol lead. I received the harness yesterday and it is perfect! The quality is something I have not been able to find anywhere. This is my fourth Bloodhound, and they have all gone through several "good" harnesses each. This one is going to last the life of my dog. My name is Ian Burns and I'm a K-9 handler with Canine Associates International. My female German Shepherd, Katja, and I are deployed in support of US Special Forces in Afghanistan. I just wanted to pass along that I've been using your RAMTech leashes for over 2 years now and I love them. Other than being completely durable and comfortable on the hands, I especially love their performance when wet. Here in Afghanistan I often have to cross streams and rivers while on patrol. The RAMTech leashes are great because they never slip when wet and I can always maintain control of my dog. I will never use a leather leash again. Thank you for making such a great product! I just wanted to share with you how happy I am with the Grip It Leads that I have purchased. I've been training my Bloodhound, "Luke," for one year now. I obtained him from another handler who had "rescued" him, so I was his first full-time handler. Since I was new to tracking, and training Bloodhounds, I had been borrowing equipment for the first month or two. Luke is young, boisterous and a very strong puller, so I was having a heck of a time from keeping the regular cotton web line I was using from burning through my gloves or "strangling" my hand as it would wrap around so tight. Having purchased Ray Allen products years before as a military working dog handler, I thought I'd check back in with the company to see what my choices were. I purchased the 15 foot Grip-It lead and fell in love with it during my next training session. I have since purchased the 20 and 30 foot leads as well. I've gained so much more control over Luke and it's helped me teach him more control as well. The Grip It is just stiff enough to not wrap around my hand to tightly, but the inlaid rubber grips strong in my glove. Thanks again for your great products. The urn and the tile provided by Ray Allen are beautiful! Both articles far exceeded our expectations, and were delivered to us quickly. We were very impressed with the craftsmanship displayed in the mitered corners of the wooden urn, and the overall quality of construction. The base is fitted perfectly to the vessel. The portrait of Champ on the tile truly captures the spirit of the dog we so fondly remember. The laser etching process used to create the larger tile affords a high level of fine detail in the finished product. I just wanted to write you a quick note to praise the RAM-Tech leads. I purchased from you a 6' x ¾" lead about a year ago and I still stand amazed at its performance. I have abused it pretty badly to do my own field test on it to see if it was worth purchasing for our entire kennel at my last base. The lead went through every weather condition thrown at it, was dragged through mud, rain puddles, snow, the woods and thorns, rocky roads, and over asphalt during drop leash aggression. It virtually shows no signs of wear and tear except for your logo coming off. Since then, McChord AFB, WA, now issues the RAM-Tech leads to their handlers. I am now at Kunsan AB, Republic of Korea, with the same lead I purchased about a year ago, still using it on a daily bases. I've presented my test results to the kennel staff and they have agreed to go with the RAM-Tech leads as well. I'm going to be submitting the supply request in a couple of days and it will then be awaiting approval by our commander and placed on the un-funded request list. I just had to let everyone there at Ray Allen know about my experience last week. I had taken my dog with me to Petsmart & I was using my new Police Lead. I happen to run into a manager that I have gotten to know & he couldn't stop talking about the lead! He was very impressed by the quality of craftsmanship, the overall feel & look of it. He even said that they didn't have a lead that could perform as many functions as mine. Well, needless to say, I couldn't help myself from telling him where I had gotten it. When I told him how much I had paid for it, he said it was worth every penny. I have to agree completely with him. I wanted to thank you for producing the most comfortable and effective sleeve I have ever used. In 15 years I have used hundreds of sleeves and have never been as happy as I have with yours. Two months ago, I purchased the Ultra Training Sleeve #203 with your Syntek Cuff #64S. This combination has cured several of my client’s dogs with weak bites and/or munching on the sleeve. I can really see the level of intensity rise within the dogs as they hit the sleeve. For me the “feel” of the sleeve is superior to the other competitor’s equipment. The durability has also surprised me quite a bit as I normally wear out a cuff in several weeks. Your cuff has barely shown any wear in two months. I have had my Durango K9 insert for approximately 6 months and it has been excellent. In that time I have driven hundreds of miles on bumpy dirt roads during our busy fire-fighting season and thousands of miles on highways to K9 training and conventions. There have been no rattles, squeaks or problems. The sliding door has worked flawlessly. The insert allows the rear of the Durango to safely hold all of my K9 and daily patrol equipment. The roof of the insert has also allowed the permanent installation of our rifle holder. I highly recommend the K9 insert to anyone who uses their dog for work. "I've never been disappointed in the quality of any Ray Allen manufactured equipment. Their Compression Bite-Core Sleeve is by far my favorite all around training sleeve, mostly because the dogs love it. When the dog bites hard, the core collapses, and the dog gets the extremely satisfying feeling of crushing his "prey". To re-live that feeling, the sleeve encourages the dog to bite down hard. If the dog loosens his grip, the core expands in the dog's mouth, signaling that the "prey" is still alive, and the dog once again crushes the core back down.
