K-9 Trace NESTT - Explosive Detection Training Aids

Increase reliability of K-9 detection through safer, more frequent training in realistic situations

Non-hazardous explosives for security training and testing and no DOD license required. Two delivery methods available; Coated Silica (crystals), minimizes secondary odors and is impervious to extreme environmental temperatures. And, Petrolatum Suspension (paste), substance is dispersed in a light wax base, is non-dusting and will adhere to virtually any surface.

These training materials are utilized by U.S. and Foreign Agencies for K-9 Explosive Detection Training. They are DOT certified, non-hazardous material, and can be shipped anywhere by any method.

NESTT materials are realistic training aids containing actual explosives TNT, RDX, PETN and oxidizers (KN03, KCL03). NESTT materials mitigate hazards, contamination, storage, transporting and handling problems associated with explosives. Preparation and packaging are designed to minimize contamination during storage, training and field handling. NESTT products now come with an outer-zippered cloth bag.

NOTE: It is imperative that the K-9 in training receive extinction (proofing) training through the use of the corresponding DISTRACTOR ODORS. Failure to do so may compromise your training. All Sample Kits now include Distractor.

For more than a decade I have purchased leads and collars from you. The leads, mostly leather, have held up better than any product I have bought for my dogs, even outlasted a few metal bowls! Although sad about putting down a beloved Catahoula Hound (she was 12 1/2 with cancer), I bought her lead when she was 2 years old and it's still in excellent condition, one of my younger dogs train with it!
